Tottenham Hotspur signed Victor Wanyama from Southampton and and Vincent Janssen from AZ in the summer transfer window.
Former Chelsea and Celtic striker Tony Cascarino has stated in The Times that Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen are unspectacular signings for Tottenham Hotspur.

According to The London Evening Standard, Spurs had to pay Southampton a transfer fee of £11 million in order to secure the services of Wanyama this summer.
Spurs recruited Janssen from AZ for a transfer fee reported by The Mirror to be worth £17 million.
Cascarino, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports and talkSPORT, has claimed that neither of the two players is spectacular.
However, the former Aston Villa striker has given Tottenham’s summer transfer business 7 out of 10.
“Ridiculously low bids for Wilfried Zaha and left Sissoko deal late,” Cascarino wrote in The Times. “Wanyama and Vincent Janssen unspectacular 7.”
Wanyama has scored one goal and created two chances in three Premier League appearances for Tottenham so far this season.
Janssen has yet to score for Spurs, but the 22-year-old Netherlands international striker has created three chances in three league matches for the North London outfit so far this campaign.
Tottenham signed Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, Moussa Sissoko and Pau Lopez (loan) from Marseille, Newcastle United and Espanyol respectively on transfer deadline day.
