Tottenham ace gets compared to Arsenal and Manchester City forwards.
We recently lauded the creativity in Harry Kane’s game, with the Tottenham star improving greatly over the past six months.
It seems pundit Tony Cascarino is in agreement, telling The Times that he believes the Tottenham striker is in a class of his own.
Kane is one of the Premier League’s great goalscorers, and Cascarino believes the extra facets to Kane’s game sets him apart.
This was again on show as Tottenham beat Cardiff 3-0, with Kane grabbing a goal along the way.
He said: “His displays in the No 10 role are up there with the very best and show how he has got so much more to offer than a lot of other strikers.
“Sergio Agüero and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are fantastic predators but they couldn’t do what Kane does as a No 10 — and he still scores as many goals as they do.”
Much of Kane’s work in the build up does not always translate into direct assists, with his role as target man bringing others into the game.
He is integral to Tottenham’s play, and showed his quality with England too in their big win over Spain late last year.
Kane’s development is further testament to Mauricio Pochettino and his coaching staff once again improving a top player and making him even better.
