Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Liverpool from Arsenal on transfer deadline day.

Oxlade-Chamberlain moved to Liverpool from Premier League rivals Arsenal on transfer deadline day.
According to BBC Sport, the Reds had to pay the Gunners a transfer fee of £35 million in order to secure the services of the England international.
It has also been reported that the 24-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a central midfielder, turned down Chelsea on Tuesday.

Former Celtic and Chelsea striker Cascarino, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, has a theory why the ex-Southampton man chose Liverpool ahead of the defending Premier League champions.
“Oxlade-Chamberlain is a direct player with blistering pace, who wants to drive forward,” Cascarino wrote in The Times. “He can’t defend.
“He can hassle and press, but I think he knows that his strength is not being out wide, where he is required to chase back.
“That’s why he turned down Chelsea; offensively, he is better than Victor Moses but he cannot defend like he does. He is simply not a natural at it.”

Oxlade-Chamberlain is a good and talented player, and at just 24 years of age, the Englishman is still very young.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a very good coach, and the England international can only improve under the German.
The Merseyside outfit have made a strong start to the 2017-18 Premier League campaign and will be aiming to challenge for the league title.
