Tottenham Hotspur’s Kieran Trippier continues to impress.
Tottenham’s Kieran Trippier in action
Pundit Tony Cascarino has told The Times that Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier reminds him of Dani Alves.
Alves is currently starring for Juventus and has a chance to win a fourth Champions League trophy this season, having already lifted three with Barcelona.

Cascarino says he has been impressed with Trippier’s crossing and ability with the ball, and believes he is perfect for Tottenham’s wing back role.
He said: “He is a much better crosser of the ball and no full back or winger in the league can match the quality of his deliveries.
“His emergence this season is a big reason why Spurs seem prepared to consider bids for Walker. Trippier has six assists this season — with two coming yesterday to set up Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld — one more than Walker, despite playing in half as many games.
“Trippier reminds me of Dani Alves in the way he pushes forward.”
Tottenham’s Kyle Walker looks dejected
Questions remain over the future of Spurs defender Kyle Walker, who continues to be linked with an exit.
The Mirror report Spurs are considering cashing in on Walker at £40 million with both Chelsea and Manchester City interested.
Walker was dropped for both the FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea and the North London derby with Trippier preferred.
He missed the final two games of the season with injury and could have played his final game for the club.
