Sam Allardyce’s Everton and David Moyes’s Dave Moyes have been linked with Alfie Mawson of Swansea City in the January transfer window.

Swansea City defender Alfie Mawson has been linked with Everton and West Ham United in the January transfer window.
According to The Sun, West Ham are ready to offer as much as £25 million as transfer fee in order to secure the services of the 23-year-old centre-back this month.
The Mirror has claimed that Everton manager Sam Allardyce wants to recruit the former England Under-21 international in the January transfer window.

According to The Mirror (Transfer live blog, 21:37, Thursday, January 11, 2018), Swansea paid Barnsley a transfer fee of £5 million in the summer of 2016 to sign Mawson.
Swansea manager Carlos Carvalhal has stated that there is no plan to sell the centre-back, but the former Sheffield Wednesday boss has suggested that an offer of £50 could make a difference.

Carvalhal is quoted as saying by The Mirror (Transfer live blog, 21:37, Thursday, January 11, 2018): “When I signed I was told we would not sell our best players, we only want to bring players in.
“I have had guarantees from the chairman. If someone comes in with £50m it might be different. But I want to keep my best players and I don’t know if we have had an approach.”
Swansea are struggling for survival in the Premier League at the moment, and it would be a blow for the Swans if they were to lose Mawson in the January transfer window.
