Jamie Carragher praises Liverpool ace Roberto Firmino.

Firmino is Liverpool’s first choice striker, and is showing why manager Jurgen Klopp has such strong faith in him as a regular starter.
The Brazilian has scored 11 Premier League goals this season for the Reds, more than Chelsea’s £75 million striker Alvaro Morata (10).

Carragher said: “I actually think he is one of the most underrated players in the Premier League.
“He has always been Liverpool’s number one striker but what he has been adding is the goals.
“He can actually match up to the other strikers now goals-wise and still bring all the other stuff that he brings.”

Firmino’s target should be scoring 20 goals and this could be achievable with a strong finish to the season.
His form has given Liverpool boss confidence not to go and splash out on strikers over the past two transfer windows.
Firmino is just unlucky that Mohamed Salah’s performances have been so supremely good that his own displays have been overshadowed.
It’s a small price to pay for playing in the same side as the Egyptian, and the lack of attention may even work in his favour that he can continue going about his business with little fuss.
