Ex Liverpool defender highlights an impressive performance from the Reds nine years ago.

Liverpool have a team right now where nearly every player is world class.
It was not always like that.
Nine years ago Liverpool fielded a team in the Europa League which will make fans shudder.
The line-up consisted of Pepe Reina, Paul Konchesky, Martin Kelly, Martin Skrtel, Jonjo Shelvey, Jay Spearing, Christian Poulsen, Milan Jovanovic, Ryan Babel, David Ngog, and was captained by Jamie Carragher.
Carragher, Reina and Skrtel are the only ones of the three who could claim their Liverpool careers were successes.
Jamie Carragher was reminded of this line up by a fan account, wondering what he must have made of being part of this XI – branding it as possibly the club’s worst ever XI.
Carragher stuck up for the team, pointing out that they secured a 0-0 draw away to Napoli.
To be fair, it’s a better result than the current Liverpool side managed in Napoli this season, losing 1-0.
Perhaps that says more about the Napoli side of 2010.
