Jamie Carragher was not impressed with Moises Caicedo as he gave away a penalty in Chelsea’s defeat at West Ham United.
Moises Caicedo gave away a penalty as Chelsea were beaten 3-1 at West Ham United this afternoon.
The Hammers took an early lead as James Ward-Prowse delivered his usual quality with Nayef Aguerd burying his corner.
Carney Chukwuemeka conjured up a superb leveller and Chelsea were well on top before Michail Antonio smashed West Ham back in front.
Aguerd’s red card left West Ham clinging on before Caicedo committed a rash foul inside his own box.
Caicedo brought down Emerson Palmieri in injury time, allowing Lucas Paqueta to step up and seal all three points.

Caicedo started the game on the bench just days after completing his staggering £115million move from Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Ecuadorian was brought on just after the hour mark as he replaced Ben Chilwell.
Caicedo nearly made an instant impact as he flashes a volley wide of the post but it was a mixed showing for his 30-minute debut.
Pundit Jame Carragher certainly wasn’t impressed though as he suggested that Caicedo had a ‘nightmare’ in his cameo.
Carragher told Sky Sports (19/08, 6:30pm) that he felt Caicedo struggled but that he will of course get better moving forward.

“He’s had a bit of a nightmare since he’s come on, you’ve got to say,” said Carragher, “It’s a poor, lazy challenge. He’ll have better days to come, no doubt,” he added.
Carragher could have been speaking about a Caicedo debut for another club this weekend.
Liverpool had agreed a deal to sign Caicedo, but he rejected the Reds in order to join Chelsea.
Carragher really wanted to see Caicedo join Liverpool even if the price tag was ‘big’ in his opinion.
It wasn’t to be as Liverpool moved on and signed Wataru Endo from Stuttgart instead, with Caicedo completing his desired move to Stamford Bridge.
This wasn’t the start Caicedo wanted but, as Carragher said, there will be better to come from him in Chelsea blue.
