Jamie Carragher has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United winning against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The former Liverpool star has pointed out that Manchester United won against Arsenal despite not starting Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portugal international forward came on as a substitute and did not score.
The Red Devils won 3-1.
The Sky Sports pundit has also noted that Arsenal’s goal through Gabriel Martinelli was rightly disallowed.
Former Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Eriksen was bundled over by Norway international playmaker Odegaard just inside the Arsenal half.
Mikel Arteta’s side launched a counter-attack.

Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli was slipped through by Bukayo Saka, and he brilliantly clipped the ball past United goalkeeper David de Gea.
It was a wonderful goal, but it was overturned.
VAR advised referee Paul Tierney to look at the pitch-side monitor, and he decided to disallow the goal.
Carragher believes that this time VAR made the right decision.
