Jamie Carragher has written in The Telegraph that he does not think that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur will win the Premier League title this season.

The Sky Sports pundit believes that Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United and his former club Liverpool are too far behind Arsenal and Manchester City in the Premier League table to challenge for the title this season.

Arsenal are at the top of the table at the moment with 37 points from 14 matches, five points clear of second-placed and defending champions City.

The Gunners’ bitter North London rivals Tottenham are fourth now with 29 points from 15 games.

Unlikely

We do not think that Tottenham Hotspur are going to win the Premier League title this season.

Yes, Arsenal could slip up, but it is hard to see both the Gunners and Manchester City collapse in the second half of the season.

Finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season is Tottenham’s main objective.

Just like it was last season.

And we think that Tottenham fans will be happy with that outcome.

Conte is a serial winner, but even the former Chelsea and Juventus manager will know that he cannot win the Premier League title with the current Tottenham squad.
