Jamie Carragher has said on Twitter that he does not want Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
The former Liverpool defender believes that Kane will eventually sign a new contract with Tottenham and commit his future to the North London club.
The Sky Sports pundit has predicted that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will turn down an offer from Manchester United for the £200,000-a-week striker (The Sun).
Carragher has said that he does not want Kane at Newcastle because of Alexander Isak.
The Sweden international striker scored two goals for Newcastle in their 6-1 hammering of Tottenham at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 23-year-old striker has made 11 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle so far this season.
Isak has scored 10 goals in those games.

The youngster has had injury problems this season, but he is now playing regularly and is producing the goods for Eddie Howe’s side.
Kane, 29, has scored 24 goals and given two assists in 32 Premier League matches for Tottenham so far this campaign.
