Erik Lamela and Moussa Sissoko have failed to deliver for Tottenham Hotspur so far this season, says Jamie Carragher.
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has been quoted as saying by Skysports.com (19:25) that Tottenham Hotspur duo Erik Lamela and Moussa Sissoko have failed to deliver so far this season.
“They have a great chance,” Skysports.com quotes Carragher as saying (19:15) while analysing Tottenham’s chances of winning the Premier League title this season. “Chelsea are favourites of course but Spurs went very close last year.
“I’ve thought about what they lacked last year and maybe it’s a superstar on the right-hand side. Lamela and Sissoko have so far failed to deliver.”

Sissoko joined Tottenham from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
According to BBC Sport, the Premier League outfit had to pay the Championship club a transfer fee of £30 million in order to secure the services of the France international midfielder.
The 27-year-old has failed to deliver the goods so far this season and is not guaranteed a place in the Tottenham starting lineup.
The France international has been able to feature in only 12 league matches so far this campaign, creating 15 chances in the process.

Lamela, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has scored one goal and created 18 chances in nine league games for Spurs this season.
The 24-year-old Argentina international has not played in a competitive game since late October due to injury.
Tottenham are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 45 points from 21 matches, seven points behind leaders Chelsea.
