Jamie Carragher has praised Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin on Sky Sports Premier League (6:43pm, February 18, 2023) for his performance against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Carragher has said that Saint-Maximin was a real threat for Newcastle against Liverpool throughout his time on the pitch.

Impressive performance

The 25-year-old French winger was a problem for the Liverpool defenders and gave them a torrid time.
Saint-Maximin’s pace and quality on the ball was an issue for the Reds, and he also had chances to score.
According to WhoScored, the winger took three shots and one ended on goal, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 83.9%, took 48 touches, attempted seven dribbles, and put in one cross.
