Jamie Carragher was at Goodison Park over the weekend, and during an Instagram live video, he sat on the back row of the Bullens Road Stand to try and show why Everton need to move into a new stadium

There weren’t any Everton fans present when Carragher was making his way to the gantry, but whilst making his way up, he showed a back-row view of Goodison Park.

It showed that those sitting on the back row cannot see the full picture of the pitch because part of the roofing blocks the view.

Everton are set to move into their stadium in the near future at Bramley Moore Dock and many think it’s been a long time coming.

This is what Carragher had to say when sitting on the back row of the BullenS Stand, before Everton’s defeat to West Ham on Sunday.

“I am going to sit on the back row here of the upper Bullens,” said Carragher.

“That’s why Everton need to go to Bramley Moore Dock. You can’t have that, can you? You can just about see the other side of the pitch and that’s why Everton need a new stadium.”

When the Toffees do move into their new home, they will be hopeful that they don’t go down the same route as an Arsenal or Tottenham.

Not in terms of how their stadiums look, because they are of a seriously high standard, especially Tottenham’s.

But since the North London duo moved into new surroundings, their clubs have stagnated and gone backwards from where they were.

Everton have to make sure they can’t go down the same road, else it will prove to be an utter disaster.
