Jamie Carragher has claimed on Monday Night Football on Sky Sports (26/10/20 at 10:25 am) that the All or Nothing Tottenham documentary proves that Daniel Levy is ‘starstruck’ by Jose Mourinho.
Initially, Gary Neville claimed that he never thought for ‘one second’ that Levy would appoint someone like Mourinho as his manager.
But, of course, the stubborn businessman handed the reigns to the outspoken coach last November when Spurs made the surprise decision to sack Mauricio Pochettino.
Following Tottenham’s 1-0 win against Burnley on Monday night, Neville made his comments about Levy-Mourinho before Carragher intervened.
Neville stated: “I never for thought for one second that Daniel Levy would ever appoint Jose Mourinho as a manager.”
Carragher responded: “Daniel Levy loves him. Have you seen the documentary? He’s starstruck. He cannot stop looking at him. The way you look at me!”

Some may have raised eyebrows when Mourinho was appointed by Tottenham, but the Portuguese has done one thing throughout his managerial career – win trophies.
It’s the one thing Spurs crave and during this crazy and unpredictable season, it’s time for the North London club to use that to their advantage.
Many have asked whether they are in the Premier League title race, well with Mourinho’s defensive mind and the attacking threat of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Gareth Bale, you’d be foolish to rule them out of it.
