Palmer suggests Pearson as potential Carlos Carvalhal replacement

Carlton Palmer has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Sheffield Wednesday’s defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wednesday suffered a 1-0 defeat to Wolves at home in the Championship on Friday evening.

Ruben Neves’s goal in the 34th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides at the Hillsborough Stadium.

The Owls also ended the game with 10 men due to the dismissal of Morgan Fox in the 85th minute.

Former Wednesday midfielder Palmer was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the result on Friday evening.

The former England international has suggested that the Owls’ season is finished and has also suggested Nigel Pearson as a potential replacement for Carlos Carvalhal.

Pearson, who is in charge of Belgian club Oud-Heverlee Leuven at the moment, has managed the likes of Leicester City and Hull City in the past.

The defeat to Wolves means that Wednesday are now 15th in the Championship table with 27 points from 22 matches.
