David Moyes’s West Ham United lost against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Carlton Cole has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to West Ham United’s defeat to Manchester City on Sunday evening.
West Ham’s poor run of form in the Premier League continued, as they lost 2-1 to Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium.
The performance of the Hammers against the Citizens was very encouraging, and the London club actually went into half time 1-0 up.
In the end, though, City’s class and quality proved too much, but former West Ham striker Cole was impressed with David Moyes’s side’s display.
Tottenham legend Gary Lineker was following the match as well, and the former England international was impressed with how West Ham played in the first half.
Although West Ham will be pleased with the team’s performance against City, the fact of the matter is that they lost and failed to pick up a single point.
The result at the Etihad Stadium means that West Ham are now second from bottom in the Premier League table with just 10 points from 15 matches.
