Carlos Vinicius made his debut for Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night.
Jose Mourinho’s side cruised past LASK with a 3-0 scoreline in North London to get their Europa League campaign off to a strong start.
Carlos spearheaded Spurs’ attack for the first time following his season-long loan from Benfica.
And although the colossal striker wasn’t among the goals, he did set up Lucas Moura’s opener and Son Heung-min’s third late on.
Here’s how the big man reacted to the debut on Instagram:
The big man missed a good chance to score early on, but Mourinho will be delighted with his response to set up two goals and enjoy a fine performance nonetheless.
Sometimes when a striker fluffs his lines in front of goal, the head can drop a little bit.
But Vinicius is clearly a confident chap and stoic enough to roll with the punches rather than get floored by them – and it certainly bodes well for Tottenham going forward.
