Tottenham Hotspur forward Carlos Vinicius has expressed his delight on Instagram at the win against West Bromwich Albion.
Spurs returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over West Brom at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
The Brazilian forward, signed on loan from Benfica in the summer of 2020, did not start the match and was an unused substitute.
It must have been disappointing for the 25-year-old not to even come on as a substitute, but he is delighted for the win for Jose Mourinho’s side.
Vinicius responded to Tottenham teammate and Brazilian compatriot Lucas Moura’s post on Instagram, as shown below:
Tough for Carlos Vinicius
Harry Kane scored for Tottenham on his return from injury, and the England international striker is now set to play regularly in the first team.
The 25-year-old has struggled for playing time in the Premier League so far this season, and he is unlikely to get much action in the coming weeks, especially if Kane stays fit.
According to WhoScored, the Brazilian forward has made one start and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season.
