Glasgow Rangers duo Steven Davis and Allan McGregor are in their second spells at Ibrox.

McGregor returned to Rangers in the summer of 2018 for his second spell at the Gers, and the 37-year-old Scotsman has been superb for the team and is the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper.
Davis was on the books of Rangers from 2008 until 2012, and after a loan spell at Ibrox from Southampton during the second half of last season, the 34-year-old Northern Ireland international signed a permanent contract with Gerrard’s side in the summer transfer window.
Former Rangers defender Cuellar, who is now on the books of Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv FC, played for the Gers back in 2007-08, and he is pleased to have Davis and McGregor back at the club.
Cuellar told The Scottish Sun: “I was so happy when I saw Allan McGregor and Steven Davis had come back because they can be so important for Rangers.
“They have the knowledge of what it is like at this club and can pass that on. They also have big experience from the Premier League.
“Players like that are vital. They act as teachers for the younger players and can push the rest of the squad on.
“They know what it takes to win and also how to manage the difficult situations, because those will come in any season at any club.”
Title challenge
Rangers are ahead of bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment.
This season, the Gers are in with a real chance of winning the league title, and both Davis and McGregor will play their part.
