Leeds United’s Under-23’s recorded a thumping win on Monday night.

Leeds United made it a clean sweep of wins in the last three days as their Under-23 side beat Bristol City 4-0 at Ashton Gate on Monday night.
The Under-18’s clinched their league title with a 1-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon, before the Leeds senior side beat Barnsley 2-1 at Elland Road.
On Monday night, the Under-23’s were in action against Bristol City, and coasted to a 4-0 win, with Jayden Ali’s own goal setting the Whites on their way in the first half.
Sam Dalby made it 2-0 after the break, before Tyler Denton recorded two late goals to secure a thumping win for the Whites at Ashton Gate.

That was the final game of the season for the Leeds Under-23’s, and coach Carlos Corberan took to Twitter after the final whistle to send a message to fans.
Spaniard Corberan has overseen a mid-table finish for his side this season, and reflected on a season of ‘good football’ and development from his young players, before suggesting that he wants to make fans proud, thanking them for his support.
Leeds fans were quick to respond with adoration for Corberan, with many backing him to become a future Leeds manager, potentially succeeding Paul Heckingbottom – and it remains to be seen whether the development coach steps up in the coming years.
