Leeds United will be looking for Izzy Brown to make his debut soon.

Leeds United’s Under-23 coach Carlos Corberan has told LUTV that he is very encouraged by Izzy Brown’s progress as he bids to return from injury.
The Whites brought in a host of signings over the summer, and after landing both Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker in loan deals from Chelsea, they returned to secure a third from the Blues.
Playmaker Brown arrived on a loan deal until the end of the season, but came to Elland Road unable to play as he continued his rehabilitation from a major knee injury suffered whilst playing for Brighton and Hove Albion.
Brown subsequently hasn’t played a single minute for the Leeds first team this season and wasn’t expected to be fit before January, but Marcelo Bielsa and co have been given a major boost.
Leeds Under-23’s took on Birmingham City on Friday and lost 3-0, but Brown was able to be named in the starting line-up, playing 45 minutes before being replaced by Clark Oduor.
45 minutes under the belt will be a huge boost for Leeds, but he will need more Under-23 games before he can play in the Championship, giving Leeds a boost for the second half of the season.

After the game, Corberan suggested that Brown has shown something very positive by playing 45 minutes instead of the planned 30, praising his motivation and character for pushing himself that little bit further.
“We’re happy to see Izzy Brown playing football again,” said Brown. “He came from a long-term injury so of course we aren’t watching the right Izzy Brown yet. He needs time but the positive thing is that in his first game he was ready to play 45 minutes. We only had it in mind for him to play 30 minutes but it showed good motivation to extend the time he played.”
“We saw something about his character which I think is positive. We hope we can help with Under-23s minutes and make him ready for the first team. This is the big positive,” he added.
