The Spaniard led Leeds United’s Under-23s to the Professional Development League North title earlier this week.

Carlos Corberan has insisted he does not have eyes on the Leeds United manager’s job yet.
Corberan led Leeds’ Under-23s to the Professional Development League North title earlier this week, despite the distraction that comes with being Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team coach.
It was suggested this week that some at Elland Road see the Spaniard as a potential Bielsa successor (Yorkshire Evening Post).
But in an interview with the YEP, Corberan said: “My ambition when I arrived here was to help in the role I had.
“Last year, I was only focused on the Under-23s, to create a base and develop a style of play.
“This year, they moved me to be part of Marcelo’s staff and my only focus is to be helping him with the things he delegates to me.
“My only focus is to go year by year or step by step. This is enough ambition right now, not to think about other things which might be.”

Corberan has coached in Saudi Arabia, Spain and Cyprus, where he held his only senior managerial role at Ermis Aradippou.
But the 35-year-old is highly regarded within the game, as evidenced by Bielsa’s decision to hand him a prominent role within the Argentine’s coaching team.
Bielsa signed a two-year deal to become Leeds boss ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, which could yet end in promotion back to the Premier League.
Should Leeds consider Corberan when Bielsa leaves Elland Road?
