Owls boss Carlos Carvalhal addressed the media ahead of his side’s game against Wolves tonight, and hailed Nuno Espirito Santo’s men, calling them the best team that he has seen in the Championship since he took over two-and-a-half years ago, as quoted by the Express & Star.
The Black Country outfit currently sit comfortably at the top of the Championship table, four points clear of second placed Cardiff City, and have impressed up and down the country with their exciting, expansive brand of football.
Wednesday have experienced a rather contrasting campaign, however, and currently sit in 15th position in the table, a full 10 points behind bitter rivals Sheffield United in sixth spot.

Tonight’s game at Hillsborough will be a hugely important one for both clubs, but for very different reasons.
Many pundits and fans alike are predicting an away win for Wolves, and for good reason.
Carvalhal, 52, talked up tonight’s opponents when speaking to reporters during his pre-match press conference, highlighting their individual quality and organisation as two key factors behind their success, as quoted by the Express & Star:
“We play against the best team I’ve seen in the Championship in two and a half seasons. Not just because they have individuals, but because they have quality. Individually they have very good players and also they have good organisation, which makes them the best team I’ve seen (since joining.”
