Jordan Rhodes has not played well for Sheffield Wednesday so far this season.

Rhodes has started two matches in the Championship and has made nine appearances as a substitute for Wednesday so far this season.
The 27-year-old striker has not scored in the league for the Owls and has provided just one assist.
During the 2016-17 campaign, the Scotland international scored three goals and provided one assist in 14 starts in the Championship for Wednesday.
Wednesday manager Carvalhal believes that goals will come for Rhodes.

“Jordan is involved in the games and did well against Barnsley,” Carvalhal told The Star about Rhodes. “He made an impact on the game. He is waiting for the confidence from one goal.
“He needs one goal to be with more confidence. But this goal will arrive and the confidence will arrive because we know the abilities of the player.
“We know he’s a top goal-scorer. I still believe he will score a lot of goals at Sheffield Wednesday.”

Rhodes is a good striker, and his record at Blackburn Rovers underlines his ability to score goals at Championship level.
What the Scotland international needs is a couple of goals in a match, and he could then start banging them in left, right and centre.
It does not help that Wednesday as a team are not playing well, with the Owls struggling to keep up with the teams competing for the playoffs.
