West Ham’s pursuit of transfer target Carlos Bacca could potentially take another twist as AC Milan’s desire to sign Pedro Obiang emerges.
Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb report, via newspaper Tuttosport, that Obiang is one of two solutions AC Milan have in mind as they target a defensive midfielder.

They are also keen on Paris Saint-Germain’s Benjamin Stambouli, previously of Tottenham, but Obiang has experience playing in Serie A with Sampdoria.
The chance to negotiate with AC Milan may be music to West Ham’s ears, as they have been trying all summer long to close a deal for prolific striker Carlos Bacca.
The Mail reported this week that West Ham had returned with a new bid for Bacca, with more money up front that their previous offer.

A cash plus player offer from the Hammers sending Obiang to the San Siro could prove tempting for Milan, but the trouble in convincing the striker to join would of course remain.
Last season he made just 11 starts in the Premier League and has just one late substitute appearance in the league so far, and West Ham could have a decision to make on his future.
