Carlos Alcaraz has commented on the experience of filming a Break 50 video with Bryson DeChambeau.

The Spaniard may be well on his way to establishing himself as one of the greatest tennis players of all time – with seven Grand Slam wins under his belt at the age of 22 – but he is also an outstanding golfer.

With that, he had the opportunity to join DeChambeau in a video on the LIV Golf star’s YouTube channel.

Break 50 sees Bryson DeChambeau and a partner hit from the furthest forward tees on a course. They then both hit from the spot of the better shot and repeat the process in the hope of shooting 49 for 18 holes.

DeChambeau has filmed with the likes of John Daly, Tony Romo, and Steph Curry. Curry, in particular, was extremely impressive, even managing to outdrive the two-time US Open champion.

Speaking on Tennis Channel, Carlos Alcaraz was asked about the experience of playing alongside DeChambeau, and he outlined how much he enjoyed the opportunity.

“Yes of course, I made the most of the time with him. Asking some tips, asking how should I play, how should I do this swing, how to do everything on the golf course. But yeah, it was a fun video with him,” he said.

“He’s such a nice guy. He helped me a lot. We couldn’t break 50, I’m sorry to the guys that haven’t seen the video yet. Sorry for the spoiler! But we had so much fun.”

What Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev have said about Carlos Alcaraz’s golf game

It seems unfair that Alcaraz can be so good at golf having already achieved so much in tennis before he has even turned 23.

Novak Djokovic recently spoke of being impressed by how far Alcaraz hits the ball on the golf course after playing a round alongside the Spaniard.

Meanwhile, Alexander Zverev said that he and Alcaraz play almost every single day, with the pair hovering around a handicap of eight.

DeChambeau, meanwhile, will hope that he can take something from Alcaraz. While he has two US Open wins under his belt, he has got a hugely difficult task on his hands to add more majors to his tally with the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Jon Rahm around.
