Rory McIlroy held his nerve at Augusta National to claim the green jacket by winning The Masters for the second year running.
McIlroy was under big pressure from a handful of players heading into the final round, which he entered on 11-under alongside Cameron Young.
But Young faded away with his one-over 73, finishing in a tie for third as McIlroy posted a one-under 71 to secure the title.
And the champion’s latest victory at The Masters has now caught the eye of many sporting icons, including tennis superstars Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.
Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic react to Rory McIlroy winning The Masters
Sharing video footage of McIlroy at Augusta, world number one Alcaraz wrote on his Instagram story: “Many congrats Rory McIlroy!”
And Novak Djokovic, a former world number one, also tagged McIlroy on his Instagram story with the words: “Back-to-back MASTER.”
Both ATP icons certainly know the feeling of success, with Djokovic boasting 24 Grand Slam titles, more than any other player.
Alcaraz is quickly rising the all-time leaderboard with seven, which is one more than McIlroy has clinched in his golfing career.
Very fittingly, all three athletes are career Grand Slam champions, having won all four majors in their respective sports.

Rory McIlroy receives messages from Manchester United and Charl Schwartzel
Of course, McIlroy isn’t just receiving heartfelt messages from the tennis world.
The official account of Manchester United, the football club he supports, posted on X: “So nice he had to do it twice.”
And LIV Golf player Charl Schwartzel, who finished 54th at The Masters this year, wrote on X: “Always a privilege to play at The Masters.
“Congratulations to Rory on earning his second green jacket, truly remarkable.
“Thanks Augusta, till we meet again.”
The messages of congratulations are only going to continue for the Northern Irishman, who is deserving of all of the praise he is receiving right now.
And that will definitely mean the world to him, having once again earned the respect of his fellow golfers and the wider sporting community.
However, he won’t want to end his major championship success here, with McIlroy certain to still be hungry to add to his tally.
He just showed his desire and determination at Augusta, particularly on a final day where he could have let pressure get the better of him.
His next opportunity for another major title arrives at the PGA Championship, which takes place at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania next month.
