He may not be the first name on the team sheet right now, but Kingsley Coman is the future of Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich winger Kinsley Coman will still be at the Allianz Arena next season, manager Carlo Ancelotti has insisted in quotes reported by Football Italia.
The young Frenchman is currently embarking upon the second season of a two year loan from Serie A champions Juventus but Bayern have an option to sign him permanently at the end of the current campaign for around £18 million, according to ESPN.
However, he is yet to find his spark under Ancelotti this season, with the returns of Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Douglas Costa from separate long-term lay-offs pushing Coman down the pecking order in Munich and sparking rumours that he was set to re-join Pep Guardiola at Manchester City next season.
The former PSG youth product evolved into one of the most exciting talents in European football after just a few months under Guardiola’s tutelage last season, ending the campaign with four goals and six assists in the Bundesliga.
Coman also made the rest of Europe sit up and take notice when he came off the bench to inspire a scarcely deserved turnaround against parent club Juventus in the Champions League knockout round last season, setting up Thomas Muller’s last gasp equaliser with a sumptuous cross before putting the tie beyond doubt with a goal in extra-time.

Consequently, Sport claimed that Guardiola was desperate to be reunited with Coman as he aims to transform Manchester City into a European force, as reported by Goal.
However, Ancelotti has now moved to pour water on the speculation, insisting that Bayern have no desire to let the 20-year-old slip through their fingers a la PSG and Juventus.
“His future is at Bayern,” the 57-year-old told Tuttosport, as reported by Football Italia. “We all rely heavily on him. There is no possibility of him returning to Juve.”

Furthermore, with Raheem Sterling thriving under the creative freedom afforded to him by Guardiola, and Leroy Sane, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva all equally adept in wide areas, City would surely be served reinforcing other areas of their rather unbalanced squad.
