Tottenham Hotspur face stiff opposition from Carlo Ancelotti over their interest in Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara.

Mauricio Pochettino has signed a new five-year deal and Harry Kane has committed to a new six-year deal too as Tottenham look to keep the nucleus of the team which has performed so well over the last few seasons.
Pochettino has told the Spurs board he must be able to splash the cash to bring top quality stars to North London as Tottenham head into a new era at a brand new stadium.
