O’Hare was sent out on loan from Villa to Carlisle for the second half of the campaign, and the youngster caught the eye down in League Two.
The Villa playmaker received his first spell of regular action at senior level, and quickly became one of Carlisle’s key players.
And fans of the League Two side have been effusive with their praise of the youngster on social media.
O’Hare is still highly regarded by Villa, and Dean Smith will almost certainly have been tracking the academy graduate’s progress during his time away.
O’Hare is regarded as one of Villa’s brightest prospects currently breaking through, and he should have a chance to impress over pre-season back at his parent club.
Smith has been keen to promote Villa’s youngsters since taking charge, with Andre Green now a first-team regular.
Carlisle ended up finishing in 11th place in the League Two table.
