Rangers should keep the faith with Ibrox winger Eros Grezda.

Rangers have undergone major changes over the last year, allowing a whole host of flops to leave the club, such as Bruno Alves, Michael O’Halloran and Carlos Pena.
One of the players to leave Ibrox last summer was defender Fabio Cardoso, who had his contract torn up in order to facilitate a move back to Portugal with Santa Clara.
Few would have even given a second though to Cardoso this season, but now the will. Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha report that Cardoso is now set to complete a move to Benfica this summer.
Cardoso is set for a big move back to his former club, having enjoyed a superb season with six goals in 25 games – a staggering record for a centre back.
The centre back has now got his career back on track, and his imminent move to Benfica is a lesson for Rangers to learn, especially as they consider Eros Grezda’s future at Ibrox.
The Albanian wide man has become something of a misfit having barely featured for Rangers of late, struggling to justify his summer move from Croatian outfit Osijek.

Some think Rangers should offload Grezda after less than a year at Ibrox, but Cardoso is a case which shows that the Gers should have a little more patience with their imports.
Cardoso endured a stop-start season too, and needed more than one season in Scotland to really get going. The same can be said for Grezda; instead of flushing money down the drain, Rangers should be willing to give Grezda another season to prove himself, having failed to do the same for Cardoso – who is now on the verge of a big move.
