Cardiff manager Neil Warnock says Brighton and Hull target Kenneth Zohore is not for sale.
Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has issued a hands-off warning to anyone interested in signing striker Kenneth Zohore.
Neil Warnock of Cardiff City.
Yet Warnock is not letting his star man go anywhere, not if the 68-year-old has anything to do with it in any case, telling the BBC the only way Zohore will leave is: “Unless I have a heart attack and another manager takes over”.
This should probably come as little surprise, with the Dane showing a remarkable turnaround in form after the former Crystal Palace and QPR boss took over at the Bluebirds in October.
Zohore failed to score until Boxing Day in 2016/17, but under Warnock’s guidance the forward scored 12 times in 22 Championship matches.
This form earned the Denmark Under-21 international a contract extension until 2020, but it was thought the lure of playing in the Premier League with newly promoted Brighton would be tempting for him.
