Cardiff City fans are clearly fond of Oumar Niasse, but the Everton loanee’s finishing is causing concern.

A number of Cardiff City fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Everton loanee Oumar Niasse’s display during the Bluebirds’ win against West Ham on Saturday.
With a number of bottom-half sides picking up three points, Cardiff’s victory against the Hammers was absolutely vital. Junior Hoilett and Victor Camarasa scored either side of the break to help Neil Warnock’s men to the win.
But the victory could have been a lot more convincing had Niasse had a better day in front of goal. No player had more attempts on goal than the Toffees-owned ace, but he only managed to put one of his five attempts on target, while only one other was blocked.
In particular, there was one superb chance where the 28-year-old put himself through on goal with a superb piece of work, only to lose his composure at the vital moment and skew his shot wide of the post.

The result means that Niasse is still awaiting his first goal for Cardiff despite making seven appearances since making his switch from Goodison Park.
Interestingly, there are plenty of Cardiff supporters who are starting to look at the forward as something of a cult-hero. They love every other part of his game, but of course, wish that he could show as much quality when he gets a chance in front of goal.

Here is how some of the supporters reacted to the Everton loanee’s display…
