After yet another managerial change, Cardiff City look to be improving under new boss Neil Warnock.
Despite losing only four fixtures between March and May, pressure was significantly on the then Cardiff City manager Russell Slade, as the 15/16 Championship came to a close.

Cardiff City fans were angry at the lack of progress being shown on the pitch, and felt that, with Slade at the helm, the club was stagnating.

Working hard to strengthen for the upcoming season, Slade and the Cardiff City backroom staff worked hard to recruit a number of decent signings for the Bluebirds, including Feyenoord’s Lex Immers, Fulham’s Jazz Richards and West Bromwich Albion’s Rickie Lambert.

However, Cardiff City also decided to make a managerial change, moving Russell Slade into a different role at the club, appointing assistant manager Paul Trollope on a full time basis.

However, as many Cardiff City fans expected, the move did not work well, and after just two wins between August and October, the Bluebirds said goodbye to Trollope, moving quickly to bring in Championship veteran, Neil Warnock.

Quickly Warnock began to work his magic on the free agent market, bringing in clubless players like Junior Hoilett, Sol Bamba, Marouane Chamakh and Kieran Richardson.

Since Warnock’s arrival, Cardiff City have turned their miserable looking season around, picking up 15 points from a possible 36 (correct at the time of writing). Though the change has been a slow one, Neil Warnock appears to be finally taking Cardiff City in the right direction, as the Welsh Giant looks for a return one day to the Premier League.
