Everton boss Marco Silva had reportedly been hoping to sell Oumar Niasse to Cardiff City.

Marco Silva’s Everton side had been trying to sell Oumar Niasse to Cardiff this month, as reported by Wales Online.
Everton were trying to fetch £12 million for the out-of-favour striker, with Cardiff thought to be his most keen observers.
However, with the Welsh side now set to bring in Sala from Nantes for £18 million, Everton’s hopes of selling Niasse have surely taken a hit.

The Toffees are now likely to have to find another buyer for the Senegal international, who has seemingly fallen completely out of Marco Silva’s plans.
Niasse is known to be available this month, but whether Everton will now be able to agree a sale price with another club remains to be seen, as Cardiff appear to have thought that they have better options.
