Cardiff City have today confirmed the signing of Sol Bamba who becomes Neil Warnock’s second signing at the club.

Neil Warnock has already strengthened his Cardiff City squad with the signing of former Leeds defender Sol Bamba on a free transfer until the summer of 2018, as confirmed by the BBC.
Bamba left Leeds at the end of last season after mutually agreeing to cancel his contract despite captaining the club.
The 31-year-old made a good impression at Elland Road and interestingly, one of his stand-out performances was against Cardiff in a 2-0 win at the Cardiff City Stadium towards the back-endof last season.

The Ivory Coast international in an experienced defender with spells at Leicester City, Hibernian and Trabzonspor among others, having started his career at Paris Saint-Germain.
Bamba has represented his national team 44 times since 2008 and has two goals to his name on the international stage.
Neil Warnock worked with Bamba at Elland Road and set about securing his signature just days after taking the helm in South Wales.

The 67-year-old boss has also strengthened in other areas with Junior Hoilett joining the club and former Arsenal attikerMarouane Chamakh is also expected to complete a move.
Neil Warnock and Sol Bamba’s first game for Cardiff City will be next Friday when the Bluebirds welcome Severnside rivals Bristol City to the Cardiff city Stadium in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
