Cardiff City manager has ruled out any potential move for Joe Ledley. Hull City are reportedly interested.

Joe Ledley of Crystal Palace looks on during the Premier League match between Crystal Palace and Sunderland at Selhurst Park on February 4, 2017 in London, England.

The summer transfer window is closed but clubs can still sign players who are free agents.

One of them is Joe Ledley who left Crystal Palace when his contract expired at the end of the season. However, surprisingly, he has failed to find a new club.

The vastly experienced former Celtic player has reportedly rejected offers from Turkey and China, as he wants to continue his career in the English soil.

Ideally, he would have liked to join a Premier League club, given his wealth of experience, but he may have to drop down the league to start playing regularly again.

Cardiff City have been heavily linked with a move for the 30-year-old midfielder, but Neil Warnock has ruled out a move for the Welshman.

He said that Cardiff are not looking to sign any player before January, and having signed Craig Bryson, they do not need any more midfielders.

“We’re done now until January,” said Warnock, as quoted by Wales Online.

“I don’t want any other additions. I was looking for that attacking midfield player. That’s why Bryson shaded that.”

With Cardiff cooling interest in Ledley, it could pave the way for Hull City to make a move for the player.

According to the Mirror, Hull City boss Leonid Slutsky has identified two free-agents and one of them is Ledley.

He would represent a brilliant signing for The Tigers, he having played regularly in the Premier League for Crystal Palace for the past three seasons.
