Sheffield Wednesday have reportedly offered £3 million for the Cardiff City defender.

Cardiff City have turned down a £3 million offer from Sheffield Wednesday for centre-back and captain Sean Morrison, according to Sky Sports.
The 26-year-old missed only two of the Bluebirds’ Championship matches this past season, scoring four goals and – amazingly – creating twice as many.
You would imagine, then, that Cardiff fans would be pleased with the stance adopted by their club in the wake of Wednesday’s alleged bid.

However, their response to the rumour on Twitter paints quite a different picture…
Wales Online reports that Cardiff are seeking closer to £6 million for Morrison, with manager Neil Warnock suggesting Wednesday’s offer ‘wouldn’t even buy one of the player’s legs’.
The Owls do appear to have other irons in the fire, though, with the Sheffield Star reporting on Friday that Carlos Carvalhal’s side are considering approaches for Grant Hanley and Daniel Ayala of Newcastle United and Middlesbrough respectively.

Both players are said to have been targets for the Hillsborough outfit during last summer’s transfer window.
