Cardiff City ace mocks Leeds United fans on Twitter

Cardiff star joked with Leeds fans after Josh Warrington’s boxing win.

Cardiff City ace Anthony Pilkington had a joke with Leeds United fans after Josh Warrington’s boxing win over Lee Selby.

Leeds born Warrington beat Welshman Selby in a hard fought contest at Leeds United’s home ground Elland Road on Saturday.

Pilkington was disappointed for Selby, but congratulated Warrington on Twitter.

He also had a bit of banter with Leeds supporters, joking and mocking them that this was the only way they could celebrate a win at Elland Road.

Pilkington’s Cardiff thumped Leeds at Elland Road earlier this year, winning a one sided contest 4-1, which proved to be Thomas Christiansen’s final game in charge.

Leeds ended up finishing in 13th place while Pilkington and Cardiff won automatic promotion to the Premier League after securing second place.
