The Carabao Cup final is just around the corner, with Liverpool and Chelsea going head-to-head for the first trophy of the season.

The clash between the Liverpool and Chelsea is a repeat of the same final in 2022, with Jurgen Klopp‘s side coming out on top through a penalty shootout. Plenty has happened since then, with the German head coach announcing his departure at the end of the season.

Similar can be said of the changes at Stamford Bridge, with new ownership, several managerial changes and a whole rework of the squad. However, for Mauricio Pochettino and his young group of players, Wembley could prove to be their coming of age.

There’s plenty on the line, with the first trophy of the campaign offering silverware as well as a chance to build momentum for the remaining months. With that said, HITC takes a look at everything you need to know about the 2024 Carabao Cup final.
