Read the second part of our tips for this weekend, featuring Tottenham Hotspur v Newcastle, Wolves v West Brom and Man City v Aston Villa
The big dilemma focused on Newcastle is whether you should bring Demba Ba into your side.
If you followed our tip last weekend to bring him in he would have cost your team 7.3 points, but his price has risen now through the week to 7.7
Striker partner Papiss Cisse remains at 7.0 despite his goal last weekend and could be a shrewder option.
Pardew hinted Ba may play deeper than Cisse, indicating Cisse could score more goals.
It may be worth bringing them both into your side for the remainder of the season, although it is likely you may have to take Newcastle players out of your side to fit them in.
Ryan Taylor is not match fit for this weekend and Ben Arfa looks set to start on the bench, so they could be two fall guys to think about transferring out.
Newcastle have a tough test away at Spurs and it is no guarantee they will even score, but next weekend they are at home to Wolves, so there is a good chance one of Ba or Cisse could score in both.
If you still have Adebayor (9.2) in your side it may be worth dropping him, he hasn’t scored in 13 hours of football, and could be dropped for Saha or Defoe on Saturday evening.
Wolves v West Brom should see goals and is a good opportunity for Steven Fletcher (5.9) to rekindle his goalscoring form. A better bet may be Kevin Doyle (5.7) who came off the bench to score and assist last week.
As for Aston Villa v Man City, this could be a real goal glut for the league leaders. They have a very good record against Villa, winning comprehensively earlier in the season.
We recommend sticking with both Dzeko and Aguero who both scored against Fulham last week, with Balotelli still out suspended.
Vincent Kompany is also due back after injury, boosting City’s chances of keeping a clean sheet.
Captain choices: We are not so sure about van Persie this week, we recommend David Silva or Edin Dzeko, but Clint Dempsey has to be a great shout with Fulham at home to Stoke.
