Jordan Jones has sent a message to Rangers and Sunderland on Instagram.
Rangers have announced on their official Twitter page this evening that Jones has joined Sunderland on loan for the rest of the season.
The 26-year-old winger has wished Rangers the best of luck for the rest of season.
The Northern Ireland international winger is also delighted to have moved to Sunderland in League One in England and is looking forward to getting started.
Sensible move
Jones has failed to make a huge impact at Rangers, having injury problems last season and then struggling to play regularly for manager Steven Gerrard.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the 26-year-old winger has scored one goal in three Scottish Premiership matches for Rangers this season and played just seven times in the league in 2019-20.
Sunderland are a big club and are aiming to finish in the League One playoffs, and Jones would make the Black Cats better and stronger.
Jones will get chances to impress at the Stadium of Light, and perhaps he will play a big role for Sunderland in the coming weeks and months.
