The Daily Mail have claimed that Arsenal have started talks with the quick-thinking playmaker.
What helps the cause of those at Arsenal is that the Atheltic report that Norwich expect their star-man, who helped them earn promotion from the Championship, to leave when the transfer window officially re-opens.
Buendia took the Championship by storm this season, providing 16 assists as they won the title in England’s second-tier.
Norwich went straight back down under Daniel Farke last time out in the Premier League and their fans aren’t exactly going to be elated at the idea of possibly losing their best player upon their return to the promised land.
But all of this would be music to the ears of Arsenal supporters, who need that creative talent in their team for the forthcoming campaign.
If a team near the top puts serious dough on the table for Buendia’s services then for a club of their size and financial standing, it would be hard to turn down.
