
Some Rangers fans on Twitter were impressed with Ryan Kent last night and do not want the winger to leave amid reported interest from Leeds United.
The Mirror reported this week that Leeds are back in the hunt for Rangers winger Kent, as they are not willing to pay £35 million to Udinese for Rodrigo De Paul.
The Times reported in August that the promoted Premier League club are interested in signing Kent from Rangers in the summer transfer window and made a bid of £10 million, which was turned down.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard himself said that the West Yorkshire outfit had made a bid for Kent, as quoted on talkSPORT in August.
Kent was superb for the Gers in their 4-0 win against Willem II away from home in the Netherlands in the Europa League Qualifying Third Round tie on Thursday evening.
The former Liverpool winger won the opening penalty, scored his side’s second goal, and provided the cross for the third.
The 23-year-old has been superb for Gerrard’s team so far this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist in eight Scottish Premiership matches, according to WhoScored.
