West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after The Daily Mail revealed that they are in talks with Slavia Prague over the signing of Vladimir Coufal.

The report states that the Hammers are in discussions regarding a £4 million deal, as David Moyes looks to strengthen at right-back following an injury to Ryan Fredericks.

The 28-year-old has eight caps for the Czech Republic national team, and is a teammate of Tomas Soucek’s at international level.

The pair were also in the same squad at Slavia Prague, before Soucek’s January move to the London Stadium.

Coufal appears to be a full-back with fantastic attacking intent.

He already has three assists in six appearances this season, and he was also part of the Czech Republic side who beat England in a European Championship qualifying encounter last year.

The Daily Mail also mention that Moyes is intent on adding another centre-back and another midfielder to his ranks before the October 5th deadline.

So far in this window, the Irons haven’t signed a single player, and have been forced to watch on as the likes of Aston Villa sign Ollie Watkins and Crystal Palace poach Eberechi Eze.
