Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil may have dropped a massive hint on Twitter regarding a move away from North London.

Ozil has been heavily linked with a switch to Turkish side Fenerbahce in recent days.

The club’s head coach Erol Bulut said earlier this week that there could be news over the coming days.

And although nothing has been announced from either Arsenal or Fener, Ozil, whose company appeared to confirm the transfer, has dropped a major clue that it’s happening.

The 32-year-old, who hasn’t played for the Gunners since March after being exiled by Mikel Arteta, posted a photo of himself and his wife on Twitter, enjoying a ‘Turkish coffee’.

Here’s how fans of the Emirates Stadium club reacted to the tweet:

Ozil joined Arsenal from Real Madrid in September of 2013 during Arsene Wenger’s stint and went on to score 33 goals and set up 54 in 184 Premier League appearances.

But the veteran Frenchman’s departure from the club in May of 2018 did nothing to help the former Germany international’s career, with Ozil only managing 42 league starts in the two-and-a-half seasons since then.
