As things stand, Adrian is on the brink of leaving the Reds on a free transfer.

Well, it isn’t a terrible one.
It’s no secret that the Liverpool goalkeeper is a divisive figure among the Reds’ fanbase.
Costly errors in a Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid in 2020 certainly didn’t help the former West Ham United star’s reputation.
But for the most part, Adrian has been quite a decent addition by Klopp and keeping him for another year makes sense.
Liverpool won’t be spending millions upon millions on players this summer due to limited finances.
And the supporters might be okay with Adrian’s extension if they knew that saving money on a replacement would enable Klopp and Michael Edwards to strengthen other areas of the squad.
