Arsenal and Aston Villa fans have reacted on Twitter to Emiliano Martinez in pre-season training.
The popular goalkeeper was showing off his dead-ball skills on Monday and he impressed the Arsenal and Villa fans with his skills.
The 28-year-old put the ball into the back of the net straight from a corner and stated on Twitter: ‘New set-piece routine’.
It has been some rise for Martinez since he was handed that chance when Bernd Leno suffered an unfortunate injury against Brighton two seasons ago.
It’s all about taking your chances and the thriving Villa man did just that.
And after helping the Midlands side secure 15 clean sheets last season, he is now showcasing other skills he has in the locker.
Whilst Arsenal fans dwell over why they sold him to Villa last summer, they enjoyed what they saw from their former player.
Villa aren’t that great when it comes to set-piece situations, so there’s someone for Dean Smith to look at to solve his dead-ball problems.
