Chis Sutton simply cannot believe that Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli is being linked with a move to PSG, as per his comments to BBC Radio Five Live.
Alli’s future at Tottenham has been heavily speculated about in recent weeks, as he has been left out of Jose Mourinho’s side’s last two match day squads.
The Telegraph now suggest that PSG are thought to be confident of bringing Alli in.
But Sutton is shocked that Alli is being linked with a move to the French champions, given his lack of form in recent seasons.
“He really has got to prove himself again and it doesn’t look like it’ll be at Spurs under Mourinho, but I still can’t believe that he’s being linked with the likes of PSG,” he said.
Sutton then went out to discuss where Alli might end up if he stayed in the Premier League.
“Aston Villa,” he jokingly added.
“He actually is in a position now where we’ve talked about him for years and he’s shown so much promise, but he needs to prove himself all over again.
“Liverpool aren’t going to touch him, City aren’t going to touch him, he won’t get into United or Chelsea’s team, Leicester have players who are ahead of him. Even the likes of Everton have signed James Rodriguez, who would you say is the better player at this moment in time?”

Alli actually seemed back to his best soon after Mourinho arrived at Tottenham last season, but he quickly lost his form.
The 24-year-old now seems to have slipped way down the pecking order, with both Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele favoured over him in recent weeks.
Alli was set to start for Tottenham against Leyton Orient yesterday, but that game was cancelled, in what was a blow to the England international.
It now remains to be seen whether Alli will be part of Tottenham’s squad for their Europa League clash on Thursday evening.
